QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of 2yrs supervisor experience
3. Ability to communicate instructions and supervise others
4. Ability to work in cooperation with other departments
5. Ability to follow directions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be able to stand for extended period of time walking around the facility
2. Must be able to sit for periods of time completing paperwork
3. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, climb, lift and carryobjects
JOB DUTIES
1. Help oversee the day to day operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments
2. Assist Director with Interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and training of new staff.
3. Assist Director with ensuring the cleanliness of the facility.
4. Respond to less than satisfactory comments regarding housekeeping or laundry related issues at Vestal Park or Pavilion.
5. Assist Director with regular daily walk through inspections of all assigned areas; make note of discrepancies and follow-up for completion.
6. Assist with special projects.
7. Cover shifts during call ins or staff shortages.
8. Assist housekeeping or Laundry aides as necessary.
9. Assist with the ordering of supplies and Linen when necessary
10. Assist Director with room moves or packing of resident belongings
11. Assists with the conduction of monthly staff meetings and in-services
12. Covers for Director when off
13. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager, or designated Director.
