Assistant Buyer

We are seeking an Assistant Buyer to work out of Philadelphia, PA or Moorestown, NJ locations. Are you looking for a new opportunity with lots of potential for growth? We are looking to grow our team with entrepreneurial-thinking members who have the passion to succeed, can study the business, and work within the merchandising team to come up with creative solutions.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should:

-Work closely with corporate buyer.

-Help manage goods receipts by balancing assortment distributions and backstock.

-Study merchandise mix and respond to enhance assortments as well as price/value based on market knowledge.

-Be able to develop strong vendor relationships.

-Analyze data and can study sales reports for opportunities to expand the business.

-Be able to multi-task.

-Have an eye for detail.

-Have strong communication skills.

-Must be strong in Microsoft Excel.

-Problem Solve.

-Spend time and study stores and the competition for trends and opportunities.
