Assistant Manager - Retail Ops Job at Hometown Graphics Inc.
We are looking for an assistant manager for our brand new showroom and store located in Hanover, MA. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing "people" person, an excellent communicator, some retail experience, some leadership experience, and possess some secondary education or training in business, marketing, or communications.
We sell high-quality printed apparel and promotional products. Our customers are located along the south shore from Weymouth to Duxbury.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee day to day retail operations of the Hanover store including customer service, B2B sales, and assisting with apparel decorating as needed.
- Select and manage inventory for our store
- Promote the store, our capabilities, and our products daily on social media
- Develop and manage relationships with schools and sports teams throughout the area
- Develop new business opportunities with small businesses throughout the area
- Provide administrative support and oversight (order-entry, delivery) for new and repeat orders
- Coordinate new orders with design, administration, and production
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the USA
- Reside in, or within an easy commute to, South Shore Boston Area
- Available to work 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday... no weekends or holidays required
- High school grad required, college grad or some secondary education preferred
- Some work experience in sales, retail, or customer service is required
- Community ties to the towns of Hanover and Norwell are very desirable for this position
Base pay will be based on your experience level.
