Pay Range: $35,000-$45,000 per year

ASSISTANT MANAGER

Are you a leader on the rise with a passion for flavor and a drive to succeed? Then youre ready to take a role as the Assistant Manager of one of our restaurants. An AM at Wingstop acts much like the General Manager in running their own business. Together with the GM, youll be responsible for what happens inside the walls of your restaurant - training and setting the culture amongst your team, upholding food safety standards, ensuring we provide excellent service to our guests, and profitably managing the operations of the restaurant. As you gain more experience and demonstrate proficiency with the GM responsibilities you will have opportunities to run your own restaurant. Some of your specific responsibilities will include:

Training and developing the team you work with

Hiring team members

Forecasting sales and building an appropriate schedule

Understanding and reconciling the financial reports of the business to ensure that cash and expenses are properly accounted for

Taking accurate inventories of food and developing plans to prepare the right amount of fresh products each day

Making our guests feel welcome and resolving customer service issues if they arise

Keeping the restaurant clean and in compliance with all food safety standards

Communicating with above-store leadership about how Buckeye Restaurant Group can support your goals for yourself and for the restaurant

Assistant Managers who excel at operating their restaurant advance to General Manager and then multi-unit roles such as Training Manager and District Manager. We are continuing to grow aggressively and want our future leaders to come from within our company.

Candidates for our AM role should meet the following requirements:

Prior experience in a managerial role at a restaurant

Can work 50 hours per week, occasionally until 1AM and including Fridays and Saturdays

Can communicate effectively via email and phone

Have a good familiarity with numbers and ability to understand internal reports

Have high energy, be comfortable on your feet, and be able to lift 40 pounds

Have their own reliable transportation

Always act with honesty and integrity

Be 18 years old and legally able to work in the United States

Candidates holding a Level 2 food safety certification are a plus
