The Assistant Manager is an active participant in the health care team who provides clinical support to the service team and administrative support to the Nurse Director. The Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe, therapeutic milieu grounded in the TaraVista core principles. The Assistant Manager provides direct patient care when needed, while acting as a role model for unit staff. The Assistant Manager is responsible for providing orientation, training and supervision to the Mental Health Counselors. The Assistant manager works collaboratively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and contributes to each patient’s milieu plan and Treatment Plan.

You Bring Meaningful Experience

  • Knowledge of behavior health and Substance Use treatment modalities preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Medical Record.
  • Previous Psychiatric inpatient experience required and leadership in staff development preferred.
  • BA degree required


TaraVista Behavioral Health Center is a regional inpatient treatment center serving Middlesex County, Worcester County and Southern New Hampshire.
