Pizza Bocca Lupo in San Jose, CA is looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 87 North San Pedro Street 133. Our ideal candidate is hands-on, a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working, someone who shares our passion for wood fired pizza! Must have previous hearth pizza making experience and an assertive, team-player mentality. If you have a strong work ethic and desire to be recognized for your hard work, you will thrive here. Responsibilities

*Oversee daily business operations *Manage staff and delegate responsibility as needed *Cover shifts of employees who call out *Maintain excellent customer service standards *Prepare ingredients and dough *Interface with customers *Stretch, top and cook pizzas *Clean up kitchen at the end of the night

Qualifications

*Able to lift up to 50 lbs. *Able to work weekends and holidays when necessary *Servsafe certification and adhere to strict food hygiene standards *Enjoy interaction with customers and understand they drive our business *Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and employee *Positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture *Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused workplace *Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

Needs to be available during weekends, around holidays and throughout the summer.
