Job Summary:
The Nassau Diner is seeking for an experienced and team-oriented candidate for the Assistant Manager. This is a Full-Time position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.


Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and perform all duties of the Front Desk
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory pars
  • Maintain a very clean work environment
  • Monitor daily reservations and make confirmation phone calls as appropriate
  • Record all deliveries (paper, produce etc) and any errors
  • Coach and support new and existing staff members
  • Handle customer reservations and requests over the phone
  • Make sure all employees follow company policies and guidelines
  • Maintain professionalism and set an example for all staff
  • Ensure diner is complying with health and safety regulations
  • Support General Manager as applicable
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • More than two years in FOH restaurant experience
