Full Job Description
A General Contracting corporation is seeking for a junior estimator for supporting and assisting the lead estimator in calculating the cost of labor, materials, contacting sub-contractors, preparation of bidding process and all other tasks required for bidding a construction project.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting and assisting the Lead Estimator to successfully bid and win the bids.
- Carefully reviewing and examining data and documents such as plans, specification & Project Manuals.
- Collecting and gathering the information that will be used to produce project estimates
- Coming up with correct and accurate cost information that is required for construction projects.
- Analyzing and determining required labor to efficiently complete proposed work items.
- Identifying and evaluating all technical issues that are related to a particular project.
- Identifying bid opportunities, visiting project sites, and attending pre-bid meetings.

- Accuracy.
- General Contracting & Construction background preferred
- Computer skills such as Microsoft excel, word & construction estimating programs.
Location: La Crescenta, CA
Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
