- Determines engineering requirements by conducting inspections and analytical tests.
- Prepares engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; discussing these findings with the senior engineer.
- Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information, modifying engineering techniques, and performing installations.
- Verifies engineering applications by conducting tests and inspections, building and analyzing models, and conducting laboratory experiments.
- Maintains project team accomplishments by communicating essential information.
- Meets cost standards by preparing cost-benefit analyses and tracking and reporting expenses.
- Prepares guidelines by describing operational and testing methods and procedures.
- Maintains and improves quality results by completing quality assurance tests.
- Prepare and manage the weekly meeting agenda with VDOT, to ensure minutes are accurate and properly transmitted.
- Prepare weekly reports of the activities performed in the area.
- Prepare presentations for different stakeholders of the Project of progress on the Area.
- Follow performance related to close of NCR/DWN.
- Further down the line the intention is for her to start collecting third party claim from accidents occurred on the road. We have not been able to recover any monies from those incidents yet.
