This position requires a strong, unique person who is able to adapt at a moment’s notice to any situation including those of high stress. Requirements include an unencumbered Missouri RN license, previous long term care experience, a commitment to total Quality Management, and the ability to complete task while working in a high intensity environment. Experience working with Behavior Management residents strongly preferred. The RN that holds this position must have the ability to be positive in all things with the ability to manage our units successfully. As the ADON you will report directly to our Facilities Administrator and DON. Must have exceptional communication skills and be able to operate consistently in a timely manner to adhere to deadlines that must be kept. Must have exceptional documentation skills.

Job Duties to include but are not limited to

· Monthly reviews with Dietary, Medical Records and other facility departments

· Chart audits * FALL Audits * Pharmacy Consults * Shower Sheets * Dietician Consult Report

· Lab Audits * Elopement and Safety risk checks *Monthly Summaries * Skin Assessments

· Medication Med Pass Supervision-Supervise CMTs

· Turn List *Diet Changes * Physicians Orders/Telephones

· Weekly Check Off on Crash Carts

· Nurses Stations Compliance

· Infection Control w/DON

· Monthly/Quarterly Assessments

· Code Team board

· RCC rounds

· Monthly Medication room & Med Cart Checks

· Resident personal Items

· CNA Care plans

· supervise the floor Nurses, CMT's, CNAs, and Hall Monitors to ensure the safety and security of the residents and the integrity of your unit.

· assist in training these employees to the point they are capable and confidently completing all necessary paperwork for the units.

· Conduct evaluations, address complaints, concerns, and needs of employee's and residents.

· You must have tact, compassion, empathy, and at times sympathy to successfully deal with sensitive and/or difficult situations.
