SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director, Member and Guest Services is responsible for all reporting and data analytics for the membership department. In partnership with the Senior Director of Member and Guest Services, this individual will process and share statistics with the team to determine selling, promotional, and retention strategies. The Assistant Director, Member and Guest Services will also lead special projects and perform all other membership duties including customer service, selling, developing relationships with current and prospective members, processing memberships, and communicating via email and phone. This position will have the flexibility to work 20 hours per week in each facility, with flexibility to change schedule as determined by the membership team.
This position is responsible for being fully knowledgeable about the program centers of the JCC and their programs/services, delivering the highest level of service to our members and potential members/guests, exemplifying professionalism, and ensuring adherence to the values and mission of the JCC.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute and follow up on all reporting including Listen 360, CC errors, CC run declines, Renewals, Duplicate accounts, discount verification report, new web site submission follow up, Traction Rec updates and reports, and new member report.
- Accountable for achieving monthly sales goals.
- Coordinate and/or assist and participate in member, guest and JCC events, promotions, and special projects.
- Communicate with new and potential members to determine needs and collect data to assist in selling JCC programs and membership.
- Identify high risk members through tracking scans and Listen 360 to build retention; develop ideas, recommendations, and strategies for improving retention.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships to assist new members connect with each other and existing members.
- Partner with membership and marketing teams to create retention initiatives for all membership categories.
- Provide information to prospective members through email and phone regarding center facilities and programs that meet their individual or family needs.
- Respond to inquiries in a timely (24 -48 business hours), professional and courteous manner. This includes telephone and email responses.
- Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of the facilities and all programs offered by the JCC on a continual basis.
- Always represent the JCC in a positive and professional manner and demonstrate the values presented in our Mission and Vision statements.
- Attend meetings and trainings as necessary.
- Always meet all JCC standards for professionalism in conduct and appearance.
- Consistently offer the highest level of personalized member service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude.
- Ability to support Assistant Directors in OM and PH.
- Supervision of full-time operations assistant.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
SALARY RANGE: $45,000-$50,000

Minimum Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Customer Service experience with a strong selling background. Former retail manager a plus.
- Previous experience in a membership-driven, multi-purpose facility preferred.
- Outstanding communicator, connector, and relationship developer; possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), email and internet.
- Prior experience with CRM software. Salesforce preferred.
- Strong analytical and math skills.
- Associates or bachelors degree in Business, Communication, or related field.
