Assistant Direct Support Manager Job at Partnerships for People, Inc
Partnerships for People, Inc. is currently seeking an Assistant Direct Support Manager to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.
Responsibilities Include:
- Create a healthy and engaging home for people with intellectual disabilities
- Assist the Direct Support Manager with program operations, includes managing staff, ensuring quality care, and the completion and maintenance of required documentation
- Ensure health, safety, and welfare needs are met through fire drills, medication checks, staff training, cleanliness of home, doctor appointments, etc.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and licensing, federal, state, and local regulations
- Support individuals to become independent, make decisions, and live a meaningful dignified life with valued social roles (ex: friend, neighbor, student, employee)

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience, includes supervisory experience
- Proficient computer skills. ability to use Microsoft Office and learn web based systems
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Able and willing to work a flexible schedule
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License and access to properly insured vehicle
- Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Background check and FBI clearances, MVR, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), and Drug Testing
