I. Job Purpose and Core Tasks
This role will assemble audio/visual components according to established SOPs, follow process and quality system protocol, assist in shipping/receiving, inventory control, order processing, log in and inspection of parts and components, adhere to cost control, adhere to workflow requirements, comply with documentation requirements, assist in other facility functions, and all general logistic requirements for the operation as required by the FDA.
· General assembly, wiring, administration, shipping/receiving, testing and production process roles according to SOPs and work instructions.
· Assemble and/or test medical devices in compliance with company procedures.
· Ensure traceability compliance by maintaining accurate production documentation.
· Ensure all production activities are in full compliance with Class 1 and Class 2 regulatory requirements, Quality System and GMP requirements.
· Ensure that production orders are completed in a timely manner.
· Ensure modifications are completed according to protocol and procedures.
· Adhere to company compliance initiatives/policies/procedures.
· Responsible for maintaining operational efficiencies and workflow.
· Responsible for creating positive and professional image of OR1 Stafford when communicating with others.
· Responsible for maintaining a current and thorough knowledge of industry standards and best practices
· Identify possible process or product improvements.
· Provides supports to other assemblers to ensure adherence to established SOPs, as well as process and quality system protocols.
· Confer with management, production, and logistics staff to determine production feasibility, and customer demand for new, existing, and legacy products.
· Responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring both preventive maintenance programs and repairs.
· Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
· Responsible for creating positive and professional image of OR1 Stafford when communicating with others.
Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned
II. Minimum Knowledge, Education and Skill Requirements
Required
Minimum years of relevant work experience: 2 year experience with background in/or exposure to audio-visual technology.
Minimum education, certifications and/or credentials: High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum hard skill requirements (including computer and application proficiency):
· Basic knowledge of audio visual connectivity and electronics
Minimum soft skill requirements:
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
· Attention to detail and adherence to SOPs
· Models dependability and works well under pressure
· Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation
· Must be able to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
· Strong communication, listening skills, and adherence to policies and procedures will be required
Preferred
Preferred years of relevant work experience: 4 year experience in electronic media systems, electrical schematic line details, electro-mechanical assembly and testing
Preferred education, certifications and/or credentials: Associates Degree
Preferred hard skill requirements:
· Ability to read wiring diagrams and system design drawings
· Solid knowledge of audio visual connectivity and signal flow
Preferred soft skill requirements:
· Ability to compile detailed documentation and work with detailed, complex, confidential and sensitive material, exercising independent judgment and human relations skills
· Possesses exceptional organizational skills and customer centric mindset
