AAA USA is looking to fill the position of Assembler Operator in Fargo, North Dakota.
Position Summary:
The Assembler manually places channel on deleted edge of coated glass for the Assembly Master to pair the clear glass with the coated glass. Production goal for IG6 is 260 units/hour. Glass sizes, shapes and weights vary per schedule. The largest unit is 40"x50" and weighs 44 lbs. Per lift policy, 0-50 lbs. is a single person lift.
Essential Job Functions:
- Move channel from hooks to the conveyor, tack channel into place and run foot pedal. Hooks can be Lift (down) 4 lbs. from overhead and place at 35 inches to move channel from hooks to conveyor
- Pinch (each hand) 8 lbs. to tack channel onto deleted edge of coated glass.
- Push (down) 8 lbs. on foot pedal with preferred foot.
- Reach to 75 inches to tack channel onto deleted edge of coated lite. adjusted from 57 inches to overhead per operator preference.
- Perform Quality Control
- Lift 44 lbs. from 35 inches, carry 8 feet, place at 10 inches to mov remake and reject glass off the line.
- Lift 4 lbs. from overhead, carry 20 feet, place at 7-76 inches to move channel to racks
Qualifications:

- Manual abilities, dexterity, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules and how to use personal and environmental protection equipment
- Capacity to work as a team and under pressure and to adapt to a constantly evolving environment
