Architectural Designer
Our client is seeking Architectural Designer to join their team. The Architectural Designer is responsible for designing and drafting architectural projects under the guidance of Structural Engineers/Project Managers. This includes setting up design packages from templates, creating layouts, elevations, as well as technical details and other architectural components. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, the candidate will be coordinating with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers and designers. The candidate will be responsible for the production of architectural construction documents while adhering to client requirements, code requirements and site adjustments.
Responsibilities:
Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of senior staff
Coordinate with designers and engineers from different disciplines
Assist senior staff with the project approval process
Organize and maintain project files
Maintain documentation for billable hours
Remain up to date with continuous training and standards’ modifications
1-5 years of experience with architectural design and drafting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
AutoCAD
Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organization and attention to details
