BASILE Studio is looking for creative and committed designers with a passion for custom details, holistic design and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are hiring for multiple positions; from support Designer I to Lead Designer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Success in this position is dependent on not only being creative but, having strong communication skills, excellent follow-through, being detail-oriented, and most importantly having the desire of joining a team that is fast-moving, adaptive to change, comfortable with implementing processes, and likes to get things done.

• We are seeking team members that will bring their UNIQUE skill set. That is highly versatile, capable of switching gears, and producing high quality custom design in a short amount of time.

• Each designer is required to lead a project from beginning to end through all phases of design into final install of our custom items.

• You will be responsible for design/documentation production and project management duties. Included but not limited to: o Project/document set up. o Concept packages and renderings. o 3d Modeling, detailing, construction documents. o Cost estimates and scheduling. o Coordination with client, AOR, GC, MEP etc.

• Organizing presentations to both clients and consultants

• You will be the main conduit and producer on a project externally and internally.

• Proactively stepping in to support your teammates.

• Clear communication and ability to prioritize are crucial to keep the team going.

• We all must operate with a sense of urgency while still delivery a high-quality product.

• We are all required to wear multiple hats, not just for the design team but for the company as whole and contribute to our overall culture.

• Ability to negotiate with contractors and subcontractors

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Previous experience in an architectural or interior design firm.

• Licensure not required but preferred depending on position and project.

• Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup required.

• Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Suite, Enscape, and Revu preferred.

• Experience with custom details, material specification, and fabrication preferred.

• Effective and clear communications, both verbal and written

• Ability to handle sensitive information with diplomacy

• Seek out opportunities to do more than expected

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload

• Ability to learn new technology

• Fast learner, self-starter, and ability to complete tasks with minimal direction

• You are collaborative and enjoy working as part of a small team.

• Animal lovers preferred.

Additional Details

• This is a full-time position

• This position will be based in San Diego, CA or Austin, TX
• Salary Range based on performance of 60 - 80k

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
