Title: AR Coordinator
Role Type: Direct Hire / Fulltime
Location: Homewood, AL / In Office
Pay Rate: $20+/hour, depending on experience
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
- Process check, insurance, and credit card payments
- Enter patient’s insurance information and prepare patient out of pocket estimates
- Submit claims to insurance companies and assist with insurance verification
- Print and mail patient statements
- Process outstanding claims reports
- Answer phones to service patients and referring dentists
- Schedule appointments for practices
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- 1+ years of medical billing and insurance experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical billing, payment processing and insurance verification/process
- Ability to work in a team environment
