Foley Billing & AR Collector

The Billing & AR Collector will report to the Manager of Billing Operations and Analysis.

What are the Primary Job Functions of the Billing Specialist?

• Have a very detailed knowledge and understanding of Foley’s AR collection process.

• Perform Billing process as required.

• Contact delinquent customers via phone and email for payment.

• Be persistent in calling and contacting debtors.

• Research accounts with delinquent balances.

• Assist with working communications from customers regarding aging.

• Follow up on late payment notices.

• Work in multiple systems for invoice generation and delivery.

• Create trust relationships with debtors, when possible, to avoid future issues.

• Update account status and database regularly.

• Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary.

• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.

• Send invoice notification to customers.

What You Need to Be Successful?

• Associate degree preferred
• A position of at least 2 years showing experience in AR collections and billing
• Multitasker with problem solving skills
• Intermediate excel skills preferred
• Work well under pressure and deadlines
• Ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth business
• Excellent customer service
• Work independently and have a passion for process improvement
