Job Title: Applications Developer – Remote
Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Job Overview:
Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional or operational areas.
Supporting high priority contact center project by building API's.
Pending additional information, watch for updates.Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs
Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards
Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements
May train users in conversion and implementation of system
Responsibilities:
Codes complex application components based on functional requirements
Executes complete life cycle for simple to moderately complex application components based on design specifications
Identifies opportunities for improving application functionality and performance issues by working with customers and architecture resources
Participates in object modeling design sessions, including interface, sequence, and class diagram or similar concepts in other technologies
Adheres to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques and generally accepted best practices
May be responsible for simple peer review
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience. Additional Requirements: Detailed understanding of full software development life cycle. Extensive experience applying code management principles.
Licensure: Experience: Five (5) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
