POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Annual Giving Coordinator and Data Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Advancement
REPORTS TO: Director of Annual Giving & Constituent Relations
SALARY RANGE: Salary Commensurate with Experience
POSITION / FTE: 1.00 (Full Time Non-Exempt)
Position Requirements:
The duties and responsibilities of the Annual Giving Coordinator and Data Specialist include, but
are not limited to:
Provide administrative support to the Director of Annual Giving & Constituent Relations,
Assistant Director of Annual Giving, Director of Parent Giving and Leadership Annual
Giving Officer.
Work closely with Database Manager, Advancement Services to analyze data, create
queries and reports as needed by the Annual Giving team.
Assist with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge database data entry projects as requested.
Run reports and analyze data of donor and alumni trends after solicitations and
periodically throughout the year. Maintain alumni class lists for the Annual Giving team
and volunteers.
Collaborate with the Gifts Officer to ensure our gift reporting and records are accurate and
in compliance with auditor standards.
Manage the online giving form. Monitor and account for gifts made online through
various payment methods.
Work in partnership with Alumni Relations team, Marketing and Communications team,
and the Business Office. Projects to include: social media, email, texting and pledge
reminders for solicitations like Day of Giving and the Young Alumni Participation
Challenge.
Work with the Annual Giving team to implement a strategic stewardship program for
donors and class agent volunteers.
Coordinate marketing email solicitations in Constant Contact multiple times a year.
Coordinate with the Business Office and Gifts Officer regarding fundraising accounts.
Answer and direct a large volume of telephone calls from constituents.
Assist the Chief Advancement Officer and the Associate Directors of Advancement with
assigned tasks as needed.

Minimum Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but equivalent combination of work experience and
education will be considered.
Financial and analytical knowledge desired.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills as this position interacts with a large and
diverse number of external and internal constituents. This includes volunteers, donors,
students, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and vendors.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Position requires meticulous attention to detail.
Must maintain confidentiality of all constituent records and information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Gmail required.
Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and Constant Contact experience preferred.
