Working as part of the new and expanding Total Quality Management (TQM), you will lead a team of quality engineers in the expansion and development of an analytics while also supporting the training and development of colleagues within Global Operations. In particular, you will be responsible for developing dashboard, data mining in multiple systems, and developing analytics tools like Power Bi to support the quality organization. In addition, you will be directly reporting to the owner of QMS and supporting the issue resolution teams by providing statistical analysis and documentation to determine Root Cause Analysis.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and strategies to align all aspects of a Global Quality organization.
  • Summarize and present findings through various communication channels (ex. From technician to senior quality executives with LSS backgrounds)
  • Foster the use of local customer insight in strategic decisions across the business.
  • Apply deeper technical skills and knowledge that is shared across the functional area (e.g., deep knowledge of key data sets, modeling capabilities, etc.)
  • Proactively leverage appropriate information into forecast via a variety of tools and sources
  • Supervise the external environment to stay up to date on leading analytic capabilities, both within and outside of our industry, which can be applied within the organization
  • Manage a small team of technical engineers to develop and maintain individual dashboards, create training material, and roll out that material to the entire organization.
  • Reportable accomplishments around converting derived insight into strategic mentorship and developing these skills among direct reports
  • Driving the team to detect, investigate, lead and driving down complex nonconformance issues surrounding the build and installation of semiconductor equipment.

Requirements


  • Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Science or its equivalent
  • 10+ years’ experience in quality role dealing with supply chain, manufacturing or engineering.
  • At least 2-5 years in a leadership capacity
  • Extensive success with 8D problem solving methodology
  • Proficient in Statistical Methods
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in dealing with high level stakeholders in the organization.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets with Power Bi (or similar tool) to extract trends and pinpoint data patterns
  • Ability to use statistical software or a similar tool (Jmp, Minitab, etc...)
  • Experience in high mix low volume manufacturing processes.
  • Strong leadership skills in developing, coaching, and driving the results for a team.
  • Ability to work across cultural barriers.
