We are currently seeking to fill roles for Fire Alarm Service Technicians and Inspectors NICET II in the Tampa area.
Responsibilities and requirements of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
NICET II - Fire Alarm - Preferred
NICET II - Fire Suppression (Sprinkler) a plus
NICET II - Clean Agent Fire Suppression a plus
Familiarity with applicable codes (i.e. NFPA 72)
- Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Perform Inspections of Fire Alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot and repairing Fire Alarm systems.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of Fire Alarm systems and other associated equipment such as radio dialers, smoke control, stairwell pressurization, etc.
- Must have experience with Honeywell systems.
- Experience with Autocall, Siemens, Simplex is a plus.
- Fire Suppression system experience is a plus.
- Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean, insurable driving record
