Pay Rate: $16.00/ HR BASE PAY* $500 bonus to all new F/T employees who successfully complete a 6 Month probationary period*

Shift Schedule: 10:00am - 06:30pm

Position Objective: To help airline passengers whom require / request assistance whilst providing exceptional customer service

General Qualifications:

• 16 and over
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Eligible to pass FBI clearance background check
• Passenger Assistant Experience (preferred, but not required)
• Ability to speak a second language is a plus (preferred, but not required)
• Availability to work weekends

Job Summary
To coordinate the daily operations of the Wheelchair Attendant team for the airline services bu Huntleigh USA by demonstrating effective teamwork, promoting safety, problem-solving of the ordinary situations, and ensuring overall operational efficiency and effectiveness with continuous improvement goals. Establish and maintain open communications with the team and clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Coordinate wheelchair passenger needs between the team, clients, and passengers.
• Maintain clean and organized work place.
• Timely dispatch wheelchair attendants and document incoming client requests for service.
• Ensure that team calls in immediately the pick up and drop off times of passengers
• Ensure that team signs out/in assigned radios
• Ensure that breaks and lunch periods are coordinated and documented
• Coordinate with manager that wheelchair attendants secure/lock wheelchairs in the designated area
• Practice open and continuous communication and value keeping others well informed
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with team and clients
• Recognize individuals and team performance with positive reinforcement
• Promote awareness and education of Wheelchair Attendants that they are responsible and accountable for safety.
• Ensure completion of through Incident Reports for accidents or any out of the ordinary events while in the course of transporting a passenger
• Ensure completion Wheelchair Logs to create a business record of all "pushes"
