Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The Agronomy Customer Service Manager manages our agronomy customer service team that responds to phone, e-mail, text messages, chat, in-person, and other requests from both our internal and external customers. The Agronomy Customer Service Manager also supports the administrative team for their business unit in providing accurate and timely billing, management of inventory receipts, product transfers, contract management, and other critical administrative duties. This role will lead, mentor, and develop their team along with balancing work coverage and collaborating with other business unit managers to provide support to others when possible and when seasonal needs arise.
The Agronomy Customer Service Manager will monitor the daily workloads of team members, approve adjustments to schedules or time away from work, and adjusts to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency. They identify system and workflow improvements, ensures proper training and use of line-of-business and finance applications, helps build standard operating procedures and training programs, and ensures proper execution of their teams daily tasks. Essential Responsibilities:*
- Train, coach, and mentor customer service and administrative team
- Effectively manages resource utilization through the business units seasonal business cycles
- Document processes and procedures for training and onboarding
- Provide system and process training to promote consistency and full utilization
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Monitor daily, month-end and year-end processes for timely completion
- Enters and supports accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
- Actively communicates important processing issues or customer concerns
- Work closely with credit department to resolve customer disputes
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer account information
- Work closely with management, finance, and CSR and administrative lead team members to create and implement new processes
- Work closely with operations and sales to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
- Manages team schedules while ensuring proper support coverage
- Stay up to date on industry standards and methods
- Support cross-business unit collaboration whenever possible
- Help in other areas of the business as bandwidth allows
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:*
- Five years professional business experience
- Two years of people management, supervisory and/or team lead experience
- Effective trainer, coach, and mentor
- Prioritize and delegate work based on the most critical needs
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Clear, compelling, and consistent communicator
- Provides positive and active team communication
- Great customer service skills
- Maintain positive, poised, and professional attitude and appearance
- Lead by example
- Strong computer and technology skills

- Agriculture knowledge in agronomy is preferred
- Experience in call center management is a plus
- Accounting degree or relevant experience is a plus
