ISM Discovery Kids Program Assistant (After School)
Hours: 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.
ISM Discovery Kids and Extended Day program is looking for employees who are passionate about positive youth development and dedicated to providing ISM students with the opportunities to grow every day. Program assistants facilitate fun and engaging activities for children enrolled in ISM Discovery Kids and Extended Day program. Program assistants are also responsible for the safety of the students enrolled and overall well-being of the program. Job is perfect for those individuals that enjoy working with school age children or looking to get into education as a future career. Looking for ages 15 and up. – not sure you can or want to put this in there.
Qualifications:
Has a passion for working with children in a fast-paced, enriching environment.
Ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks at a time.
Ability to engage in frequent physical activity with students.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
Basic knowledge of developmental needs of school age children.
Excellent organizational and management skills.
Must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for this position.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- After school
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Eden Prairie, MN 55344: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
