This position is for a Level 5 Leadership opportunity within the ADP Structures Design team in Palmdale. The position will report to the ADP Structures Design Sr Manager within the Structures organization.

The candidate will provide administrative leadership to a team of engineers where responsibilities will include staffing, career mentoring, performance assessment, identifying opportunities for growth and development, managing training activities, behavioral actions, compensation, and
awards/recognition.

Responsibilities will be split between managerial duties and execution of technical work with the Design team which includes applying technical expertise and guiding the team to develop solutions.

Good people skills as well as good oral and written communication skills are a must. A strong background in structural design is required.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The ability to obtain a Secret and program special access clearances required.

Must be a US Citizen with existing security clearance.

Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience w/ designing metallic and composite parts

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
