Adult Education Testing Assistant Job at Utica Community School District
Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Monday – Friday
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 46 Weeks/Year
Requirements
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, and related computing programs.
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and completely
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion in relationships with students and staff
- Ability to make decisions and problem solve
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions
- Desire to work with non-English speaking adult students and other adult learners
- Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments for new and current students
- Determine appropriate individualized assessments for students, score and analyze student testing and assessments
- Analyze and evaluate formative and summative student achievement data in accordance with State of Michigan Educational Functioning Levels
- Responsible for maintaining student testing data and tracking student hours as required for assessments
- Registration of new students
- Data entry of student information/data into PowerSchool and Michigan Adult Education Reporting System
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate student records and information
- Other duties as assigned by the Director
