Mary Wade Adult Day Center is looking for a positive energy person to join our direct care team!
Hiring for the following positions:
- Part-Time: 25 hours/wk: 8am to 430pm
Hourly Rate: $15.00

Due to excellent patient to aide ratios, we take the time to talk with, and listen to, those we care for and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Our goal is to create moments of joy as often as possible. Listening to understand, demonstrating kindness, concern and tender loving care are part of our core practices. Stringent infection control guidelines are followed to ensure resident and employee safety.
Everyone is held accountable to these standards.
Our resident population is primarily seniors with varying levels of acuity.

Qualifications:
- 1 year professional or personal experience caring for Alzheimer's or Dementia patients
- PCAs are encouraged to apply
- Assists with meal planning of clients in ADC.
- Manage daily kitchen operation and resident dietary needs.
- Prepare clients for meals to assigned tables and kitchen cleanup
- Strong customer service skills
- Preparing and planning snacks for clients
- Support team members
- Use good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
- Strong positive attendance track record
- Willingness to assist co-workers and ALL members as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Able to be flexible to adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressure
- Possess a “Do whatever it takes” mentality
- Strong sense of urgency and efficiency in completing tasks
- Sense of humor, high-energy and upbeat personality
- Maintain state regulations for serving food, washing hands, temping food and keeping kitchen clean.
