Job Title: Admissions Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Admissions
FTE/Classification: Full-Time, exempt


Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School is a Catholic, college-preparatory school and work study program serving students from families of limited economic means. Summary of Responsibilities: The Admissions Coordinator will assist in efficiently processing admissions applications and facilitating the customer’s experience and interaction with Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School, Admissions events, and requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Database entry on the CRM ADMISSIONS +
  • Use the CRM to track applicants and where they are in the process
  • Call and email parents to keep them updated
  • Scheduling Interviews, Tours, and Meetings
  • Holding one-on-one meetings and tours
  • Application support- helping complete the application process with families
  • Step Up for Students:
    • Help families apply/renew
    • Contact parents to obtain the approval letter
    • Enroll all students for SUFS
    • Create/update SUFS award spreadsheet
  • Attend admissions events- set up, questions, break down
  • Events: communicating with families before and after; making sure students are here for events
  • School, parish, and community partner visits and presentations
  • Requesting Unofficial transcripts
  • Requesting and gathering income verification for Admissions Committee to review
  • Requesting and uploading final transcripts for new students
  • Enrollment scheduling
  • Completing new enrollment documents/ uploading in CRM and collecting fees

Qualification & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of computer usage and modern office practices.
  • Effective communication techniques and procedures. Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish).
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Effectively carries out oral and written directions.
  • Effectively communicates with diverse groups, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and work with frequent interruptions.
  • Establish cooperative relations in a calm and tactful manner.
  • Offers assistance and support to co-workers. Works cooperatively in group situations. Works actively to resolve conflicts.
