Job Description


Reporting to the Director, Undergraduate Admission, and working with the Associate Director, Operations & Admission Systems, the Admission Associate provides essential support and guidance to the Director, overseeing critically important elements of the undergraduate admission process. In addition, as a member of the Admission Associate (AA) team, this position works among a team of 10 to manage the applications for over 40,000 applicants to the undergraduate program (freshman and transfer), providing exceptional service and guidance to applicants, parents, school counselors, teachers, and other constituents.

The Admission Associate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: serving as the liaison to the President’s Office; coordinating logistics for the review of applications within various committees; creating reports for the Director of Undergraduate Admission and University leadership within Technolutions Slate CRM; coordinating the Director’s travel logistics, calendar, and phone calls; coordinating publication mailings; producing the office annual report; supporting special projects as assigned by the Director; and serving as a visible representative of the office in engaging with campus partners.

As a member of the Admission Associate team, the AA also supports all aspects of the admission and communication processes within the Slate CRM and applicant tracking system, including but not limited to: application creation, maintenance, data and reporting, event/webinar registration and management, decision notifications, and office email and communications. The AA connects with admitted students in support of yield efforts, and assists with programming events including Keith A. Francis Weekend, Gabelli Presidential Scholar Program, Admitted Eagle Days, and other yield programming. The AA is the point of first contact for student visitors, phone calls, and e-mails to the Undergraduate Program Office.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $39,900 to $49,850; salary commensurate with relevant experience.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM, web-based applications, and/or U-achieve is desired.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with and commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a high-volume, service-oriented environment.
  • Evening, weekend and holiday work may be required during peak periods of the admission cycle.
  • Bi-lingual skills desired.
