The Administrator on Duty (AOD) is responsible for providing administrative oversight to the students and staff of the Children’s Residential Program in the absence of the Director of Children’s Services and Residential Coordinators during evening and weekend hours. The primary purpose of the AOD is to support and monitor the appropriate, safe and effective implementation of program activities and agency procedures as well as respond to and direct activities during crisis situations. Additionally, the AOD develops and/or maintains staff schedules and other pertinent documents that support the daily operation of the program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under the general supervision of the Director of Children’s Services/designee, the AOD will ensure optimal staffing is maintained in all campus residences
  • Monitors and supports the implementation of program activities and agency procedures in all campus residences.
  • Acts as the campus liaison for all incidents, emergencies and crisis situations providing support, guidance and oversight to students and staff.
  • Assumes an initial role with all incident management activities
  • Develops and/or maintains all student and staff information systems, staff schedules and other pertinent documents that support the daily operation of the program
  • Oversees the deployment, scheduling and supervision of all per diem, float staff and/or health care agency staff and oversees the operations of the regularly scheduled bus runs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or combination of experience and education.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain agency driving privileges
  • Must obtain and subsequently maintain qualifications in all health, safety and crisis intervention procedures of the agency, such as First Aid, CPR, SCIP-R and medication administration certification.
