Administrator Job at North Dakota State Government
North Central Human Service Center - Minot, ND
The Residential Administrator is an administrative position that provides programmatic oversight of a 24-hour facility. In this position you will oversee an array of multi-disciplinary staff members, which may require you to cover shifts in times of vacancy. You will oversee development and implementation of programming and ensure the facility remains compliant with licensing and accreditation standards. You will provide training, leadership, and direction to those that work in the facility.
In this position, you will confirm that a strategic plan is followed to ensure client needs are met. This will include ongoing measurement of effectiveness and efficiency which may, at times, lead to resource reallocation.
You will thrive in this position if you enjoy a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment and have a passion for using data and strategic planning processes to ensure high-quality behavioral health care.
To be considered for this position, you must be 21 years of age or older. You must have a bachelor’s degree in a field related to the position’s program responsibility area and four years of related work experience in a specific health/human service program area that involved lead work or supervisory work experience.
A master’s degree in a field related to the position’s program responsibility area may substitute for two years of the work experience requirement. Additional work experience as specified may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
This position requires a valid driver’s license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation. Alternative to requiring driver’s license if there are other means to get around, for example public transportation, is available.
