We are hiring a part-time or full-time Administrative Specialist to work at the Front Desk at our Clinic. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to program managers and staff, coordinate client appointment process, open, schedule and close clients, complete communications and administrative tasks in an efficient and quality conscious manner, serve as primary contact for clients regarding program information. provide back up support for other administrative specialists in Community Mental Health as requested, attend program or staff meetings as requested, keep supervisor informed and advised of needs and problems, and complete other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma plus specialized training in Administrative Clerical, Associates Degree Preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of administrative/clerical experience required. Experience working in mental health/clinical setting preferred. If hired bilingual - fluency in speaking and proficiency in writing English language and fluency in speaking one or more additional languages, Spanish preferred.

Other Information

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-mail and other software as required; Intermediate typing skills, preferred; Excellent knowledge of office procedures and English composition/grammar; Ability to compose and edit text; Good communication skills to deal effectively with the public; Must be flexible and able to work within a diverse team and adapt to meet the needs of a diverse clientele; Ability to work independently, manage time well, perform a variety of tasks and problem solve; good proofreading skills; Knowledge of and/or ability to become proficient in an electronic health records system.
