Camp Manito-wish YMCA is seeking candidates for an Administrative/Business Office Assistant to join our team! Camp Manito-wish YMCA is a 105 year old overnight Camp focusing on wilderness tripping and leadership development. This is a full time, year-round position assisting in serving our participants, their families, and our alumni.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a business/office setting, through advanced study or practical experience; strong computer skills including experience with database/customer relations management software and a strong personable and professional presence. The ability to multi task, manage time efficiently and take initiative is a must in this busy office environment.
Camp Manito-wish YMCA offers a competitive wage of $16-20/hour, commensurate with relative experience, and benefits package, including health, dental, and life insurance and retirement plan.

Position Summary:
The Administrative/Business Office Assistant will be responsible for support of all business and administration operations at Camp Manito-wish YMCA.
Essential Functions:
The Administrative/Business Office Support performs the following activities:
· First-line person to answer telephones and greet visitors, alumni and guests.
· Provide support to the administrative office, including, but not limited to, assisting with mailings, general operation, maintenance of office machines and monitoring office supplies.
· Managing the incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis.
· Database management and tracking for participants and prospects.
· Provide support to the business office, including, but not limited to, assisting with accounts payable, bank deposits and miscellaneous filing.
· Assist in the preparation for board meetings and events, including, but not limited to board book preparation, meeting logistics and registration.
· Trading Post support, including, but not limited to, fulfilling on-line orders, ordering product, researching new vendors/product and inventory twice a year.
· Uphold Camp Manito-wish YMCA policies, expectations and values.
· Take on other assignments as requested for the overall good of the organization.
Know How:
To perform satisfactorily, the Administrative/Business Office Assistant should bring the following experience or skills to this position.
· Knowledge of general YMCA programs, philosophies and objectives.
· 1-3 years of appropriate educational background, through advanced study or practical experience, to carry out and contribute to the success of position.
· Strong personable and professional presence (telephone and in person).
· Strong communication skills (written and oral).
· Ability to multi-task and mange time efficiently.
· Willing to take initiative.
· Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
· Establishes goals, clarifies tasks, and plans work accordingly.
· Highly motivated and able to work independently.
· Ability to use intermediate functions of word processing and spreadsheet applications. In addition to experience with database management software.
· Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community both on the telephone and in person.
· Seeks to understand other’s point of view and needs.
· Ability to represent the Camp Manito-wish YMCA in a mature and professional manner.
