Administrative Associate Job at Community Health Centers of Burlington
Community Health Centers is seeking an Administrative Associate to join the team! This role provides a wide array of administrative support functions with a high level of professionalism throughout the organization. This position will be based primarily at Riverside Health Center but will float to different CHC locations. The length of each float assignment will vary depending on the needs of the specific departments. This is a long-term temporary benefits eligible role!
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in a medical office setting, using a computerized appointment scheduling system, or an electronic medical records system is strongly desired
- Familiarity with medical terminology is strongly desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to operate Microsoft Office products as well as switchboard telephone systems.
- Knowledge of processes to provide excellent service including evaluating needs and meeting quality standards for service
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing records, operating standard business machines such as photocopiers, faxes, and postage meters
- Demonstrated ability to handle detailed tasks in a dependable, persistent and responsible manner
- Ability to remain pleasant and maintain a good-natured, cooperative attitude
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- Ability to guide oneself with little supervision and a willingness to take on responsibility and challenges
- Ability to understand and follow strict confidentiality policies and procedures
- Ability to work and problem solve at an individual level as well as part of a team
- Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
Licensure, Certification, or Other Requirements
- Driver’s License or the ability to have transportation to multiple locations
