The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Department with HR and data documentation, recruiting and onboarding, talent management, training, and other assignments.

Salary Range: $20-24/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and maintaining HR files, including active, terminated, and recruiting files
  • Processing department purchase orders and expense reports
  • Provide employment verifications
  • Handle all employee status changes (terminations, transfers, etc)
  • Assist with offer packages to new hires for onboarding
  • Assist with off-boarding for terminating employees and communicate to appropriate staff
  • Process and verify new hire information in Deltek Vision and UKG Pro
  • Assist with college recruiting logistics such as registrations and mailings
  • Assist with recruiting process in UKG Pro
  • Coordinate Internship Program
  • Maintain HR calendar
  • All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates Degree with 1 to 2 years’ of clerical experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding follow-up skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; a penchant for accuracy and time management
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe
