Position Summary: The Finance Executive Assistant will support the mission of the Agency by providing assistance to the Chief Financial Officer and Finance department. n addition, the Administrative Assistant provides direct support of the Finance functions through assistance in daily processing of receipts, input of invoices, reconciliation of accounts and preparation of regular reports as assigned.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides administrative assistance including, but not limited to, travel arrangements, scheduling, correspondence, filing, and attending and taking minutes of various Board Committees and Staff meetings.
  • Under the direction of the CFO, provides administrative assistance to the Finance Committees of the Board.
  • Attends Finance Committee meetings (sets up meetings, communications to members and takes minutes).
  • Provides administrative assistance to the Chief Financial Officer including correspondence, daily bank deposits, petty cash processing, project tracking, assisting in the preparation of presentations, maintaining Fiscal Standards Policies and Procedures manual, and other projects as assigned.
  • Provide back-up support for the CEO Executive Assistance duties when necessary. Works in cooperation with the Director of Human Resources on projects as defined.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions with a high regard for exactness.
  • Demonstrated ability exercise sound judgment in managing a complex workload.
  • Practical and creative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to function independently and as a team member

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
