LeeTran is pleased to announce an exciting hiring opportunity for an Administrative Specialist within LeeTran’s support team. This position is responsible for performing technical, administrative and customer service duties. If you are a creative thinker who enjoys a team based atmosphere then this opportunity is for you.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides support to internal and external customers
- Composes, compiles, and edits a variety of correspondences, forms, reports, and databases
- Maintains confidential employee records, spreadsheets, and electronic files
- Coordinates and schedules meetings using calendars and other various platforms
- Follows uniform workflow to include presentation, selection, ordering, and accurate receiving and distribution
- Maintains inventory of department uniforms and supplies
- Prepares requisitions and performs fiscal reconciliations for processing of invoices
- Assists with new hire applicant paperwork and onboarding processes
- Assists with special projects and event planning
- Model and demonstrate Lee County’s One Org philosophy of Professionalism, Innovation, Trust, Collaboration, and Honesty
- Performs related work as assigned
Education, Experience, Licensing
- Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School graduation or GED equivalent and one year clerical, customer service or closely related experience.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record is required.
Supplemental Information
- Experience with human resources related duties preferred
- Ability to type 45 wpm preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, county staff, vendors, and the general public
- Works proactively and independently, with the ability to problem solve and take initiative
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritize accordingly to meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills and ability to use general office equipment; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
- The work days and hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- This is a Temporary position with FRS and Medical Only benefits under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.10 - $29.12 per hour
