Energy Management oversees MU’s district-energy system, which provides utility services to more than 15 million square feet of facilities including hospitals and clinics, a research reactor, research facilities, laboratories, academic buildings, residential halls, dining facilities, recreational and athletic facilities, computing centers and administrative buildings. Utility services include steam, electricity, drinking water, chilled water, utility distribution, insulation services, energy automation and commissioning, energy conservation, and off-campus utility coordination.

The University of Missouri (MU) was recognized in 2017 as a national leader in the development and use of renewable energy by EPA's Green Power Partnership.The MU campus now uses 40% of its energy from a renewable portfolio of biomass, wind and solar!

Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems on the University of Missouri Campus.

Daily supervision and scheduling of personnel in the TAB unit and plan work schedules.

Assist TAB Staff in the field and with control system adjustments to facilitate system measurements.

Review construction drawings with engineers and gather submittal information to develop TAB plan and TAB forms.

Finalize and file TAB reports to the project manager and engineers.

Attend commissioning and construction meetings and coordinate testing schedules.

Provide TAB estimates for campus projects.

Work with design engineers to gather information on existing systems.

Work with campus maintenance staff to troubleshoot HVAC problems.

Salary

Salary Range: $50,378-$91,395 Annually

University Title: SENIOR CSM ASSOCIATE

40 hours weekly

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing commerical HVAC systems.

NEEB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau or AABC (Associated Air Balance Council) cerfitication is required.

Valid Missouri drivers license is required.

Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
