POSITION SUMMARY:
The College of Public Service and Leadership Studies, School of Social Work, at Kentucky Slate
University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in the graduate Gerontology program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a part-time teaching position as needs arise in the School of Social Work. KSU seeks
individuals who are committed to diversity and student-centered learning in graduate education.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Adjunct Faculty will possess a MA/MS in Gerontology. A doctorate degree in Gerontology is
preferred. A MSW or MSSW with at least 18 graduate hours in Gerontology coursework completed will be considered. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Applicants should possess an ability to teach various courses across the Gerontology curriculum and in various learning formats (i.e., online, traditional, and hybrid). Applicants should having a working knowledge of Blackboard and basic computer skills.
