*Acute Residential Counselor Adult - ASSIST:*
Employees in this position may be eligible for up to $5,000 in grant-funded tuition or loan assistance
Supervise and monitor clients to ensure structure and safety. Provide group intervention, individual support, and case management.
ASSIST is a residential setting for adults needing crisis respite and stabilization services and can serve up to 6 adults at a time. A hospital diversion program, ASSIST is staffed 24/7/365 and supports adults as they transition from inpatient to outpatient services or stabilize from personal crises.
Responsibilities:

• Facilitate therapeutic groups
• Prepare meals
• Collaborate with the medical treatment team
• Monitor psychiatric symptoms of clients

Requirements:

• One year of experience in the field of social service or a combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired
• One overnight shift and one weekend shift required
• Valid driver's License and use of a personal vehicle

Structure:

• Full Time (Offers a consistent blended schedule including days, evenings and at least one overnight per week)
• Union
• Non-exempt
• Starting at $21.66 an hour
