Calvert County Nursing Center is looking for a self-motivated, energetic, and social individual to join our team! We are seeking a charismatic individual who has the desire to promote independence, encourage socialization, and enhance the overall wellbeing for our residents.
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and implementing day to day activities
- Promoting social engagement
- Leading small and large group activities independently
- Enhance social, emotional, and mental well being for the residents
What you must have:
- Compassion and patience
- Creativity and artistic skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Strong customer service skills
- A positive attitude
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Willingness to learn on the job and be a team player
- Experience working in activities or at a Nursing or Rehab facility is a plus
