Contract Description:

This contract is assigned to the Attack Systems Division for the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces Directorate at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The contract supports the acquisition, sustainment, and execution of the USAF Light Attack Aircraft and USSOCOM Armed Overwatch programs product support strategies.

Position Description:

As the Acquisition Program Manager, you will lead a team of logistic subject matter experts facilitating expeditious weapon system acquisition and cost-effective sustainment within a multi-disciplinary team of government and industry personnel. You will also serve as a senior advisor to government and industry personnel providing a blend of operational, program management and acquisition expertise. The ideal applicant is versatile, with a broad background in system acquisition and logistics-related disciplines. Must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers.

  • Contribute to the programs and initiatives designed to advance company strategic priorities

Duties:

Coordinate acquisition logistics and program management activities in support of post-Milestone C weapon systems. Assist with interfaces between multiple program teams and help synchronize their work to efficiently produce well-integrated analyses and documentation. May be required to perform any of the following tasks:

  • Assist in supporting development and coordination of DoD 5000.02 acquisition and logistics milestone planning and reporting documentation. Assist in drafting documentation, presentation materials, and preparing staff summary packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisions.
  • Perform analyses to support program strategy decisions and courses of action.
  • Assist in translating user requirements documents into Request for Proposal documentation.
  • Assist with development and documentation of inputs for Performance Work Statements, Contract Data Requirements Lists, and other acquisition documentation.
  • Attend and support reviews, audits and working group meetings.
  • Manage overall project cost, schedule, and performance in accordance with contract requirements
  • Deliver quality service in alignment with JJR’s ISO certified Quality Management System
  • Support company growth within established markets by identifying opportunities to expand our services and solve new challenges for existing clients
  • Additional duties' as assigned

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s in Science or Business
  • 15+ years’ experience in aircraft and/or acquisition logistics
  • JJR may choose to substitute education with relevant experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-502, DoD Handbook of Acquisition Logistics and MIL-PRF-49506, Performance Specification, Logistics Management, and Logistics Assessment Guidebook
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certification such as Life Cycle Logistics I, II, or III. Extensive acquisition logistics or operational logistics experience in lieu of a certification.

TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Salary: In accordance with various state and federal pay transparency regulations, as well as best industry practices, our job descriptions include the salary range we reasonably expect to pay those joining our team, contingent upon little to no training being required. A final salary is subject to a number of factors, including but not limited to the following: years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.


The range of pay for this position is $126,500-$154,000.

PTO, Flexible Schedule, and Holidays:
Employees receive a robust amount of PTO along with flexible/hybrid working schedules and additional support for new parents. JJR also observes a total of 11 paid federal holidays annually, including: New Year's Day, President's Day, 4th of July, Veteran's Day, Christmas, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Columbus Day.
