The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely Accounts Payable processing as assigned by the Controller in accordance with Kerbey Lane Cafe policy and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Initiate monthly ACH payments
- Process daily AP invoices and weekly check runs (checks, ACH, credit card payments)
- Assist in period end closing
- Prepare and post electronic deposits to our bank
- 1099 maintenance and reporting
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
- Prepare expense reports for three maintenance team members
- Respond to all vendor inquiries
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Scan and file invoices as necessary
- Assist with other accounting related projects as needed
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining an intense level of accuracy
- Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong ability to communicate with internal and external customers regarding all Accounts Payable matters
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
