Crescent Bank is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator. This position will provide support to the Accounts Payable function through accurate and reliable data entry and invoice processing. Also assist with processing customer refund and overpayment checks, preparing journal entries, resolving inter-company and vendor inquiries, and special projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enter and process expense invoices, General Ledger journal entry postings, and employee reimbursements
  • Generate Accounts Payable transactions through Accounts Payable Workflow Software
  • Process customer overage and refund requests
  • Submit and process collection invoices to ensure timely assessing of funds to customer accounts.
  • Develop and maintain intercompany and vendor relationships while handling inquiries
  • Ensure 1099 compliance as well as any special projects as needed
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required. College level education and previous Accounts Payable experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, 10-key calculating and basic knowledge of applicable accounting/general ledger systems and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, detail oriented.
  • Strong problem solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Reliable, self-starter and possesses the ability to work independently as well as within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with extreme emphasis on accuracy and timeliness while keeping company information confidential.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately.
