Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for an Accounting Manager with a company that develops, manufactures and distributes industrial heat transfer fluids and coolants such as glycols, which include propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, BioGlycol and Solar Glycol, as well as other fluids such as potassium formate, calcium chloride, and hydrocarbon and silicone chemistries.
Position Details:
Location: Allentown, PA
Shift: M-F; 8am – 5pm
Compensation: $60 - $75k + Bonuses

Position Description:
This role reports to the Controller and supports financial activities and management of the company.
Support management and Board reporting
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and post journal entries with supporting documentation
Maintain schedules and post manual journal entries, which may include prepaid amortization, fixed asset capitalization & depreciation, payroll accruals, and other recurring activities
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the 3-statement model (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and how business activities impact each and their relation to each other
Support treasury management by executing payments and managing cash balances
Perform expense-tracking analysis
Record and manage accounts: AP/ AR; Treasury; Revenue Recognition; Inventory and Cost of Sales; Payroll Expenses; Other G&A Expenses
Position Requirements:
1-3 years of Accounting or Finance Experience
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Thorough knowledge of US GAAP (1 year preferred) and ability to execute and lead the day to day accounting and reporting function
