Accounting Manager Job at HCP Packaging USA
This position is responsible for managing accounting function with focus on timeliness and accuracy of AP/AR, financial statement, account reconciliations, taxation, and government filing. The role must be hands-on and requires communications skills and understanding in business processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Support/oversee overall accounting processes, month end close, audits, A/P & A/R
· Prepare/Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
· Conduct General Ledger review
· Prepare month end reports, including inventory aging report and AP/AR aging report
· Review/Authorize the payment through Cheques/ACH/Wire
· Assign new number for project/CIP/CAPEX and prepare summary report
· Maintain FA addition, retirement, and reconciliation
· Review/Approve customer credit memo
· Prepare weekly cash log and monthly cash forecast report
· Assist with the annual budgets and forecasting processes
· Ensure timely completion of tax return and government filings
· Ad hoc duties and projects may be assigned as needed

Working Conditions
· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Requirements/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, accounting or finance preferred
· Manufacturing background is preferred
· Knowledge of standard office software is essential, incl. strong excel skill
· ERP experience is required, Oracle is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
