Pay Grade/Salary: $15.00
Job Summary:
The Account Representative will be responsible for collecting current and late payments from assigned accounts for Backyard Leasing and other rent-to-own products. This position will also take in-person payments and assist customers with questions. In addition, the account representative will ensure deposits and bank account are reconciled daily and new sales are entered in the RTO system.
Job Duties:
- Call on assigned accounts daily to collect late payments
- Answer incoming calls from customers, take payments and provide account balances
- Process walk in payments and assist customers with questions
- Issue voluntary pickups and coordinate dates for pickup with customers
- Make deposits and reconcile bank accounts daily
- Enter new sales (Preowned and New) into RTO system
- Run reports daily for autopay, calendar, and web payments
- Send out Certificate of Ownership on all paid accounts
- Scanning all documents related to customer's accounts to maintain a paperless system
- Data entry of sales, deposits, notices, and anything related to customer's account
Other Duties:
- Run job related errands
- Other responsibilities, as may be required from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
- Knowledge in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent telephone manners and people skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and take initiative with tasks and various projects
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Team player and has enthusiasm to learn
- Works well with deadlines, independently or as a group
- Ability to work in a group setting without disrupting others
Experience/Education:
- High School Diploma required
- Associates Degree preferred
- At least 1 year of customer service experience required
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Office environment
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 11am to 7pm, with additional hours as needed. 2 Saturdays a month will be required. Saturdays will only be 4-5-hour days, when working Saturday one day during the week you will be off
- Must have reliable transportation and have a valid driver's license
