Atlas Molded Products is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Trainer for the Byron Center, MI facility.

3rd Shift (11:00 pm - 7:30 am; $1.00 differential)

3rd Shift Production Trainer Primary Responsibilities

• Train new hires in designated positions.
• Lead certain training sessions.
• Onboard new hires and train them on Atlas policies and procedures.
• Measure progress toward successfully meeting Company expectations

3rd Shift Production Trainer Education and Experience

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Machine operator experience preferred.
• Experience training machine operators and production associates.
• High School GED or Diploma

3rd Shift Production Trainer Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organization, time management and follow-up skills.
• Proven strong interpersonal and consultative skills, and the ability to collaborate and develop strong partnerships across functional areas and organizational levels.
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job training, etc.)
• Strong writing and record keeping ability
• An intermediate level of computer literacy is required including working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
