Sky Elements Drone Shows is seeking a 3D artist/animator/modeler to join our rapidly growing team. This position will be responsible for creating 3D mockups of drone formations as well as creating precise animations that will be turned into light shows in the physical world.

The position is up to 100% remote, but artists based in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Tx area are preferred. Work is primarily individual and reports to the Creative Director.

Job Duties

· Conceptualizing images

· Reproducing 2D logos in 3D space

· Creating and rigging low poly 3D models

· Creating, designing, and executing visually stunning 3D animations

· Creative coloring of 3D animations

Required Skills:

· Proficiency in the use of one or more of the following programs for creating 3D models and animations: Blender, Maya, Unity, Houdini

· Knowledge of distance and speed constraints between objects within animations

· Excellent creativity and originality

· Ability to work in a variety of artistic styles

· Superior working knowledge of the principles of animation

· Superior graphic design skills

· Superior color sense, application, and animation

· Great attention to detail

· Ability to take and apply direction and changes

· Ability to work on tight timelines

· Passionate about drones

Bonus Skills:

· Python for Blender

· Working knowledge of geometry nodes

· Working knowledge of one or more of the following programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro

· Audio Editing, musically inclined

· Storyboard creation

Schedule:

· Full Time Position, minimum 40 hours per week

· Primarily Monday-Friday, ability to work occasional weekends as needed

· Hours of day flexible, set your own schedule
